What we store on your device

• Following: restaurants you've followed, kept in local storage on this device.
• Recently Viewed: restaurants you've opened, kept in local storage.
• Recent Searches: search terms shown in the search box's discovery dropdown, kept in local storage.
• Account sessions: if you create an account or log in, your session is kept in local storage so you stay logged in between visits.
• Analytics session ID: a random ID kept only for the length of your browser tab (cleared when you close it), used to group page views for our own traffic reporting. Not linked to your name or account.

Clearing this data

You can clear any of this at any time through your browser's site settings (usually something like "Clear site data"), which removes it from your device. It isn't stored anywhere else.

Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics 4

We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4, alongside our existing in-house analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site. It only loads if you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner below, if you choose "Decline" or haven't chosen yet, it never loads and no Google cookie is set on your device.

Once accepted, Google Analytics sets two cookies: _ga (distinguishes visitors, lasts 2 years) and _ga_<container-id> (persists session state, lasts 2 years). Google processes this data under its own Privacy Policy. You can withdraw consent at any time using the button below, which stops any further Google cookie from being set (existing cookies already on your device can be removed via your browser's own site settings, see "Clearing this data" above). If we add another tool through Google Tag Manager in future (e.g. for advertising), this page will be updated to name it specifically.
