Seafood Restaurant London is a directory of seafood, fish & chips, and takeaway restaurants across Greater London. 683 restaurants are listed so far, across 33 boroughs, and coverage keeps expanding borough by borough.

Every listing pulls together ratings, opening hours, menus, booking links and delivery options in one place, so you can find somewhere to eat without hopping between five different apps. Restaurant details come from public Google Business Profile listings and from direct submissions by the owners themselves.

Why I built this

I'm Saidul Islam Khan Samir, an SEO specialist and web developer, and founder of the digital marketing agency The Khan Digital. I also handle SEO for a seafood wholesale business, and that's genuinely where this site came from: working that closely with the seafood trade, I kept noticing there was nowhere online built specifically for people who love seafood and fish restaurants, just general directories where seafood was one category buried among dozens.

Seafood also happens to be my favourite food. Lobster, crab, oysters, mussels, salmon, a good BBQ fish, I get friends together for a seafood BBQ whenever I get the chance. I'm fairly serious about staying fit and eating well too, and seafood fits that far better than most food does, so this project kept me close to something I already care about.

Building information-driven websites that make things genuinely easier to find is what I do for a living, so this was a natural fit: take a niche I already know and love, and give it a proper home online instead of leaving it scattered across generic directories.
